How do we book you?

All dates are reserved when a 50% deposit is made. Deposits are non refundable. When is my balance due?Your balance will be due 30 days prior to your wedding date.

Do you provide a contract?

I do. You'll get a contract after we have our consultation. If you'd like to see an example of one,  don't hesitate to request one.

Do you require a shot list?

I do not. Your more than welcome to provide one and if everything goes well (no vendors or family members get in our way), we shouldn't have any issues grabbing those requested images.

Do you pose your couples?

I keep portraits (and everything) as natural as possible. Occasionally a couple will request I help them pose and I'm happy to assist them. But I don't generally use posing techniques unless it adds to their enjoyment and confidence.

Do you use flash?

I love natural light but often use fill flash if it matches my clients "vibe". Most receptions are in the evening so flash is important. I use an "off camera" technique which I find is better suited for my informal & reportage approach to those images.

Do you do engagement shoots?

Yes, depending on the package they are either included or can be added as an a la carte item.

What restrictions do you have about engagement shoots?

I try to limit them to two hours. You can bring as many outfits and we can go to as many locations as you like in that two hour window.

How soon will we be getting our pictures?

I pride myself on getting your images back to you ASAP. I usually take less than a week. During the peek times of the season, I can sometimes get a little back logged especially when I have two weddings or more in a week. When that happens, I typically still get those images out within 2 weeks.

Do you archive our pictures?

No, I don't provide archival services. It's very important that you back up your files to a secure location, media or cloud service. There are many web hosting services available that cost a minimal amount and will provide unlimited storage. I keep your files for 6 months then they are deleted.

Do you do venue walk throughs?

Yes, they are almost mandatory. I always do them if the couple is available.

Do you attend the rehearsal?

If at possible (not working a wedding or traveling), yes!

Do you make custom packages?

Absolutely, just tell me what you need and I'll work up a package for you.

Will I be able to print my pictures anywhere?

Yes, you will be able to use your images anyway you like and print from any source as well. Obviously, I'd love for you to use my lab but you are not required to do so.

Do you choose the pictures for our album?

No. I will assist you, but I don't select them for you.

How soon will we get our album?

Once you approve the design, the album should only take about two weeks to be printed.

How many revisions are allowed when designing an album?

This will become a family heirloom. It will be the ONLY thing left after the dust settles (who knows if you'll keep updating your files to the latest technology) so it's important it's exactly what you want. Take as many revisions as you need. You must get your album "started" within 6 months following the wedding or you loose the cost and opportunity. If you provide the files, I can possibly create an album later but I don't guarantee it.

Will our images be available on line?

Yes, everyone get's a public gallery so you can share your images. You can choose to have it password protected if you prefer.

Do you have a second shooter?

Depends on the package, but you can always add one as an a la carte item.

I have a friend/family member who wants to assist you - how does that work?

I'm not opposed to family and friends taking pictures or even assisting me. My contract does state than I am NOT RESPONSIBLE for any missed opportunities or images caused through the involvement of any guest, vendor or participant of any kind.

Do you have any restrictions I need to know about?

The only restriction I have is about your private portraits. I do not allow anyone to join us (except the videographer, or a personal attendant) when we take those images.

Do you charge for travel when shooting destination weddings?

I will generally add half the cost of my travel expenses into a destination package. Most my couples get blocks of rooms at their hotel and those rates are always better so I'll add half that cost and half the cost of the least expensive airfare & car rental. Those rates are determined at the time of booking my services. Destination wedding rates are generally more expensive because additional shoot days are involved. All destination packages are custom made.
